“After talking with Phoenix1, I realized that they had two components that made my decision easier; strong domestic players in Zig and Inori that I would want to work with, and a fresh team that has a legitimate chance at making a successful run at playoffs.”

Adrian’s decision comes after a disappointing season on Immortals, failing to either win a domestic championship or make the world championships, despite very dominant regular season finishes. As Adrian joins the roster as starting support, the rest of Phoenix1 have resigned their contracts for the upcoming season, with the exception of AD carry Brandon “DontMashMe” Phan. Phoenix1 stated in the announcement that they are currently trying out different players for the role in South Korea, and will announce their final choice further on.

This announcement marks the beginning of the North American League of Legends roster shuffle, as contracts have officially expired this week. Expect many more announcements in the upcoming week.
