There are several secrets for you to uncover as you play through Black Myth: Wukong, and if you’re willing to go the extra mile, there are optional locations to explore and enemies to fight, like one you can unlock in the first chapter if you can find all three Bells.
These Bells are referenced several times throughout the first chapter. If you ring one of them, you are warned against doing it again, as you would alert the entire mountain to your presence. However, as you learn, the warning is nothing more than that. When you find all three Bells in Black Myth: Wukong, they lead you to a hidden location you wouldn’t be able to reach to otherwise. Here’s how you find these Bells.
Where to find all three Bells in Black Myth Wukong
The three Bells you can find in Black Myth: Wukong appear shortly after defeating boss fights. You can find the first one relatively early on in the Forest of Wolves, in the Outside the Forest area. From the Shrine at this location, continue down the path, but take a left from the Wandering Wight. This should lead you to a fight against Guangzhi, who uses a flaming staff to battle against you. You do need to defeat him for a chance to ring the first Bell. This is likely the most obvious one to find.
The second one takes a bit more time to track down. It’s still in the same region, but you have to battle against another boss. You can find it as you go through the Bamboo Grove region and explore the Snake Trail area. When you arrive at the end of it, you can encounter Guangmou. Upon defeating this boss, the second Bell is on top of a small hill opposite the direction you go to advance through the main story. Activate the Bell to mark it complete. Now, you only need to find the final one.
The final Bell is slightly hidden; if you’re not going out of your way to look for it, it’s easy to miss it. You can find it shortly after defeating the Whiteclad Noble. When you defeat them, rather than going straight ahead, take a left and proceed through the side of the mountain. Follow the trail, and you’ll find multiple wolf enemies worshiping the third Bell. Defeat them, and then you can interact with this Bell, unlocking the hidden location in Black Myth: Wukong.
