Robot controlled by Twitch chat denied access to E3 bathroom

Well, it was a nice try.

Earlier in the week, popular streamer Guy “Dr DisRespect” Beahm had his Twitch channel banned and his E3 pass revoked after his camera crew followed him into a bathroom during an IRL stream.

And while the Doc probably isn’t laughing about his channel being banned, Twitch chat has embraced their latest meme. In fact, Twitch chat had the ability to control the movements of a “robot” that was at E3. In actuality, the robot was just a person dressed in all purple and walking with its arms outstretched like a robot you’d see in a bad 1980s movie.

Either way, the chat began directing the robot’s path. For the first few minutes, it was unclear where Twitch chat wanted to go. But once it reached the Fortnite set, the robot was told to turn around, walk a little further, and then turn right—where the men’s bathroom was.

But Twitch chat’s dastardly plot was foiled by a large, red “Access Denied” message that flashed several times across the screen. The robot obeyed the message and turned right, walking away from the bathroom and down another hallway.

As one could imagine, Twitch chat erupted with LUL and Jebaited emotes when the robot was denied access. Despite the ultimate failure, the viewers got their joke across loud and clear.
