After a fierce battle between the remaining two teams, PRX and RRQ, Paper Rex emerged as the winners of the VCT Stage 2 2025 Pacific League Grand Final, securing a better seed at the VALORANT Champions in September 2025.

While the Group Stage was conducted in a league format, the Playoffs employed an upper and lower bracket format, with the top teams from each group securing higher seeds. The entire event took place over more than a month, and it came with a handsome prize pool.

VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2 schedule

The VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2 started on July 15 and will end on Aug. 31. The event will run for a month and a half, divided into two halves: group stage and playoffs, taking place at Sangam SOOP Colosseum, Seoul, INSPIRE Arena, Incheon, and LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY, Chiba.

The group stage took place from July 15 to Aug 10, and the second half continued from Aug. 13 to Aug. 31.

There were 10 partnered teams and two Ascension-qualified teams participating in the VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2:

All these teams were divided into two groups: Alpha and Omega.

Under Group Alpha, we had Rex Regum Qeon, DRX, Gen.G, Global Esports, Team Secret, and Nongshim RedForce playing.

While Group Omega had TALON, T1, Paper Rex, ZETA DIVISION, DetonatioN FocusMe, and BOOM Esports.

VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2 format

The group stage of VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2 was carried out in a league system—the top eight teams with the most points proceeded to the playoffs.

The Playoffs had an upper and lower round system. The first four teams from the group stage secure the upper seed, while the others secure the lower seed. All matches were played on a best-of-three basis, but the finals will be best-of-five.
