Should you get these aura-packed skins or not?

This year’s Champions bundle will be available in the VALORANT store from Sept. 4 to Oct. 9, giving you over a month to make it yours before the time runs out. While the skins and accessories—featuring a tempting blend of golden shine and clean detailing—certainly look flashy and appealing, the real question is whether the excitement will last long enough to justify its price tag, which is comparatively heftier than old Champions bundles.

If you’ve got the same doubt, our breakdown of the VALORANT Champions 2025 skin collection will certainly help you figure out whether it’s worth it.

Are the VALORANT Champions 2025 skins worth it?

The VALORANT Champions 2025 bundle is priced at 6,640 VP, which is approximately $64.99 in real money—if you go for the 5360, 1000, and 475 VP packs.

There were four Champions bundles before 2025, each priced at 6,167 VP—except for the Champions 2021 bundle, which cost 6,263 VP. Nevertheless, they were all cheaper than the one now, but there’s an understandable reason.

Unlike old bundles in this series, the VALORANT Champions 2025 collection offers a little extra with the Trophy Flex, which is individually priced at 975 VP. The bundle’s pricing has been adjusted with unique discounts on each item, making the increase in cost feel quite justified.

From a strictly pricing perspective, the VALORANT Champions 2025 bundle seems pretty reasonable, but what about its features and uniqueness? If you’re wondering whether it lives up to the legacy of the best Champions skins so far, the answer ultimately comes down to personal taste.

Many players, including myself, are loving the new Champions Vandal, largely thanks to its sleek black frame highlighted with striking golden features and, of course, the signature red Champions aura now enhanced with a golden hot streak. It also features dynamic VFX and SFX, along with a banger finisher that lets you and your teammates paint the walls gold. The Butterfly Knife serves as a perfect cherry on top, sporting the same glossy black and gold body and activating the Champions aura whenever you top frag in the lobby.

Now, while most agree the Champions 2025 Vandal is a step up from its 2023 counterpart, many still feel it doesn’t measure up to the iconic 2021 skin. Personally, I’d say it comes down to preference. This year’s Vandal offers richer VFX, a more impressive finisher, and enhanced Champions aura detailing. The only aspect where the 2021 version still holds the edge is its unforgettable anthem that plays during the finisher. Besides, isn’t it about time we let go of a four-year-old skin and stop holding every new release up against it?

The Champions 2025 Butterfly Knife, however, has been received quite well. As a melee skin, it already stands strong on its own—and the Champions aura simply makes it feel perfect.

In the end, I’d say the skins are well worth the price and would make a great addition to any VALORANT inventory. I’ll be grabbing the bundle since it’s easily the best-value option and comes with plenty of cool accessories. But it’s worth noting that every item can also be purchased individually.
