It’s a good inventory weekend for Xur in Destiny 2, as he has brought three useful armor pieces. The weapon? Not so much, but we’ll get to that later.
Where is Xur?
Xur is on Nessus in the Watcher’s Grave section. He’s in his normal spot, on top of a branch of a giant tree. Just spawn into the area and go straight and you’ll find him.
This week’s weapon is The Prospector, a grenade launcher. It fires fully automatic rounds and has a special perk that lets you detonate them all simultaneously after holding down the trigger. Like most grenade launchers in Destiny 2, this weapon is lackluster. It costs 29 Legendary shards.
Let’s get to the good stuff. This week’s Hunter armor is the Foetracer helmet, which is one of the best armor pieces you can wear in PvP. This helm will visually mark enemies that you have damaged, meaning that you’ll be able to see their position even if they attempt to get away after a fight. It’s being sold for 23 Legendary shards.
For Titans, it’s An Insurmountable Skullfort. This helmet allows Arc melee kills to trigger health regeneration and instantly restores your melee ability. If you’re spec’d out for Arc melees, it will work extremely well as you’ll be able to chain Shoulder Charge abilities while regaining health all the while. Xur is selling it for 23 Legendary shards.
Eye of Another World is this week’s Warlock armor, another helmet. This helm will improve the regeneration speed of all of your abilities, including grenade, melee, and Rift. It works very well in both PvE and PvP and costs just 23 Legendary shards.
All of these armor pieces are worth the pickup, and The Prospector is fun to use albeit not that useful, so make sure to visit Xur on Nessus this weekend and check out what he’s got for sale.
