If you've been anxious to see more from Star Wars Battlefront II's single player campaign, then your wait is over. Developer EA DICE released a full cutscene from the upcoming shooter earlier today.

Star Wars Battlefront II's latest trailer offers a satisfying look at a chunk of what the game's single player campaign may offer, and it all stems from a killer lead female character.

EA DICE just released a complete three-minute scene from the shooter. We meet lead protagonist Iden Versio, who has just been assigned her very first mission. With a story that picks up just after Return of the Jedi, Versio has much to accomplish as she sets out to fulfill her own unique role in the Star Wars universe.

Janina Gavankar, Versio's voice actress who also happens to lend her own likeness to the character, offers a sassy lilt with a powerful presence. She could be one of the coolest women to have graced a Star Wars video game if her story ends up being as good as trailers have suggested.

Star Wars Battlefront II is slated for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Nov. 17, 2017. If you preorder the title, you'll get a series of outfits from Star Wars: The Last Jedi for Rey and Kylo Ren, as well as special modifiers for ships and weapons. You'll also get access to jump into the Star Wars Battlefront II beta before the game drops.
