Rockstar has a Red Dead Redemption 2 reveal for next week
It's been nearly a year since Rockstar Games announced Red Dead Redemption 2 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and now the publisher has some more info to share. A cryptic tweet points to a new reveal on Sept. 28.
Rockstar tweeted out the announcement at 10am ET this morning, which included just the words "Thursday, September 28 11am ET" with the Red Dead Redemption series' font and red background format. The tweet appears to be hinting at some sort of reveal for next Thursday morning, but no other information was given by the company.
Fans are wondering what could be announced, with some speculating that a gameplay trailer or an official release date could be revealed. Others hope a PC release—which as of yet remains neither confirmed nor denied—will be announced. And there's always the possibility of a Nintendo Switch announcement, as Rockstar Games is currently working on an L.A. Noire port for the console.
But that's all just speculation. Check back next Thursday for more coverage on the official reveal. For now, Red Dead Redemption 2 is set for Q2 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
