Another week at Bluehole Studio means another update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, as the developer continues its torrid pace of adding fixes and improvements to the early access title.

This week's update is light on changes, with the bulk of them being minor bug fixes. One of the changes listed includes fixing an annoying bug where, if a player was downed while being scoped in, they would still be scoped in after being revived.

Bluehole also mentioned in the patch notes that there are improvements to the UI, and that it has "optimized the Care Package airplane," which periodically flies over the map and drops boxes with high quality weapons and gear. These changes will go live on the test servers on Wednesday, and be pushed to the live servers on Thursday if all goes well.

PUBG will continue to receive small weekly updates, as well as larger content-based monthly updates. July's monthly update should be coming within the next two weeks, and could include the long-awaited vaulting and climbing mechanics.

Since its release to early access in March, PUBG has added numerous features, such as the new zombies mode and multiple new weapons. Creative Director Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene also teased a new desert map, which is currently in the works.
