Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are coming to Nintendo 3DS later this year, and a new trailer shows off some of the upcoming features that fans can look forward to once they get their hands on the game.
For starters, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon both feature the Alola Photo Club, where players can take pictures of their favorite Pokémon, slap on stickers, and share their photo with friends. There’s also a brand new surfing mode, called Mantine Surf, where players can hop on the Pokémon Mantine and surf from island to island in the Alola region. Pulling off tricks while surfing collects points, which turns the surfing mode into an extreme sports minigame. Pretty neat.
Alongside those two additional features, new Pokémon are headed to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, with over 400 Pokémon featuring in the game. This is partly unsurprising, as previously Nintendo teased two new Ultra Beasts and new iterations of Necrozma, according to GameSpot. But some Pokémon will only be available in certain versions, giving players an incentive to pick up both Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Island Trials are also coming back, with a brand new Trial from Mina. Whether other new Trials will feature has yet to be revealed, although we’ll know for certain in the coming months ahead. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon launch on Nov. 17, 2017 for the 3DS system family.
