Even local cops want in on those Pokémon Go raids

These cops teamed up with civilians for a different sort of raid.

Pokémon GO brings people together—be it a partner, a group of friends, or even a bunch of strangers. It’s also a game that can be played by people with varying skill levels, so no needs to be excluded from playing with others and helping out. That's especially true on a raid, where every little bit helps.

That’s why this photo of off-duty cops hitting up a local raid to help out fellow Pokémon players is so great.

Reddit user PatClaeys posted the photo late yesterday, but didn't elaborate beyond the headline: "Local PD came out to raid with us!"

It’s common to find gyms on police stations also so who knows, we might be getting seeing more cops getting involved for the poké-cause.
