Pokémon Go gets new Alola region cosmetic items in time for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon
Niantic is hard at work improving Pokémon Go's Raid Battle issues and many other problems at this time, but the company has also taken a moment to reward faithful players with a new set of cosmetic items from the Alola region.
Just in time for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon's release on Nov. 17, trainers can now pick up a variety of new avatar outfit items from Alola, including a variety of tropical clothing pieces based on both the main male and female characters from the games.
There's a bright orange top with a flared hem that looks like a flower for women, with a festive hat. Male players get a colorful blue tank top and other accessories with a maroon bucket hat and more. It may be nearing the end of fall soon, but you wouldn't know it with these summery clothing accessories for your Pokémon Go avatars. It's not much, but it's an interesting decision from Niantic to pursue this close to the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon release.
If you're planning on picking up Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon, you might decide to spend a little more time with your augmented reality Pokémon friends as they help get into the Alolan spirit. There's bound to be a clothing item that strikes your fancy out of the new collection. The old stuff was pretty bland, anyway.
