The Leaderboard: This week in esports
The LCS playoffs in North America have produced yet another finals matchup between Cloud9 and Team SoloMid. But while the teams are very familiar to fans, that doesn’t mean they’ll be any less excited to see them do battle. The revelation set off a flurry of negative responses from the community, a response so strong that it may have directly impacted the negotiations. Also discussed this week are Twitch’s ongoing attempt to fend off challengers for streaming platform supremacy and the results of the world’s first Mortal Kombat X tournament.Screengrab via Rooster Teeth
