Following the announcement of the AR-based Harry Potter game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, Warner Bros. has revealed another new mobile game for wizards and muggles everywhere to get their hands on in 2018. It’s called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, and it’s a mobile game with narrative RPG elements that takes place, as you might have already guessed, at Hogwarts.

Though there isn’t a lot of information about the game floating around just yet, Warner Bros. and Jam City have let slip that you’ll be able to create your own custom Hogwarts character and “progress” throughout your years as a student at the school, taking on familiar classes like Potions, Duelling Club, and the famous Defense Against the Dark Arts.

The game will be available for both iOS and Android players, and it will likely launch around the same time as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, which utilizes real-world locations and exploration of the environment around you, a lot like Niantic’s hit Pokémon Go

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, it looks like 2018 is going to be a banner year for you if you’re into mobile gaming. Unfortunately there’s not a lot to go on when it comes to figuring out what kind of RPG elements and what kind of game, exactly, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will actually be. Looks like you’ll just have to rewatch the movies again and again to be prepared. Oh no! Twisting your arm, right?
