One of gaming’s most controversial titles is free for Xbox owners this October. Gone Home: Console Edition is available through Games with Gold from Oct. 1 to 31.
Gone Home: Console Edition is a console-friendly version of Gone Home, with improved graphics and an engine upgrade from Unity 4 to 5. The game details college student Katie Greenbriar’s return home to Oregon in 1995 and her investigation into her childhood home after her family mysteriously goes missing.
Alongside Gone Home, Xbox owners can pick up Rayman 3 HD for free, an updated remake of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc with achievements, 60 FPS, and a 720p HD output. There’s also The Turing Test, a first-person puzzle game set on the moon Europa, and World War II first-person shooter Medal of Honor: Airborne free to download. Here’s the full schedule for when you can pick up each game:
- Gone Home: Console Edition—Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, Xbox One
- The Turing Test—Oct. 16 to Nov. 15, Xbox One
- Rayman 3 HD—Oct. 1 to 15, Xbox One and Xbox 360
- Medal of Honor: Airborne—Oct. 16 to 31, Xbox One and Xbox 360
In the meantime, Oxenfree is still free until Oct. 15 as part of September’s Games with Gold deal. Games with Gold free titles are available to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
