Due to popular demand, Fortnite: Battle Royale's limited time 50 vs. 50 mode will be returning for the holidays, Epic Games announced today.

The event originally ran from Dec. 7 to 17, but fans have been clamoring for more ever since. Today, Epic made the happy reveal that the event would be returning soon.

In fact, 50 vs. 50 will be available starting tomorrow, Dec. 23, at 7am CT. This time around, the event will only run for a few days, as it will cycle back out on Dec. 28.

The 50 vs. 50 mode is an interesting spin on the battle royale genre, as huge clumps of teammates will often find each other grouped up and moving across the map like a wave. What's most fun, though, is teaming up to build massive forts that normally wouldn't be possible in smaller teams.

Fortnite: Battle Royale's season two battle pass is available now, offering 65-plus customization items. The PvE version of the game is also currently on sale.
