Fire Emblem Heroes is on a roll with adding new heroes to the game. The latest hero drop comes today with heroes from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. There's also a new "Fiery Resolve" story chapter launching alongside the new batch of heroes, so you can get a taste of what that game's about and appreciate these new characters a little more.

Myrrh, L'Arachel, Konfuzi, and Eirika are some of the heroes joining the game. You can see them all in action in the newest trailer, which gives you a pretty decent introduction to these lesser-known names you may not be familiar with.

Fire Emblem Heroes has been releasing additional downloadable content at a pretty brisk clip over the last few weeks, with the latest update kicking off Jan. 11. That update introduced heroes from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and another new story chapter, "Guided by a Dream." Heroes Zelgius, Sothe, and Micaiah from the Wii original title were added to the game at that time.

It's clear Nintendo plans on beefing up Fire Emblem Heroes even further with these regular updates, with eventual representation across most all the Fire Emblem games in the future. That's good news for hardcore fans, and proof that Nintendo definitely still believes in its mobile strategy.
