Allied eSports and the Esports Arena have announced a partnership that will bring more esports venues to North America with their first venture being a brand new Esports Arena in Oakland, California at the Jack London Square.

Esports Arena is a Santa Ana based company that opened their first arena in the southern California city in which they are headquartered. The venue runs nearly around the clock hosting tournaments and events.

Allied eSports is a similar venture looking to add more venues. In March of this year, they opened up an arena in Beijing, and have plans for sites in Europe that will be unveiled at Gamescom in Cologne.

One goal of the partnership is to improve the broadcasting capabilities of Esports Arena. The new Oakland venue will feature new broadcasting equipment, a production studio and a green room. The venue will be similar to that of its Santa Ana sister in that tournaments and events will be frequently hosted there.

Construction on the eSports Arena: Oakland will begin immediately with the goal of opening in late-2016. The actual physical building is already in place, so the main thing for the two companies is furnishing the venue that sits on the Oakland waterfront.
