A brand new Crucible map is available in Destiny 2 thanks to the game's first raid, Leviathan, being conquered. It's called Emperor's Respite and it is located in the same place as the raid.

The map became available not long after the world's first completion of the Leviathan Raid, which was by a clan known as "The Legend Himself." The group of six players finished the hardcore PvE activity in just under six hours.

Emperor's Respite is the ninth map for competitive multiplayer in Destiny 2, and it's a pretty cool prize that was given to the community as a reward to celebrate The Legend Himself's world's first completion.

Over 200,000 viewers were watching Destiny 2 on Twitch yesterday as many broadcasters attempted the Raid, catapulting the game to the number one spot on Twitch, ahead of games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, League of Legends, and Dota 2.

The events don't end in Destiny 2 just yet, as this weekend marks the first ever Trials of the Nine end-game PvP mode, and the first arrival of Xur, a merchant who sells rare items.
