It wouldn't be a major Destiny launch without a live action trailer to go with it, and thankfully, Activision and Bungie have come through with a great one for Destiny 2.

The trailer features Nathan Fillion's Cayde-6, the Hunter Vanguard from Destiny, and three human Guardians kicking ass to the tune of "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys. It's pretty awesome.

Previously, there have been live action launch trailers for Destiny and Destiny: The Taken King, but the production value in this one is the likes of which we haven't really seen yet. The commercial should begin airing on television starting soon.

Directing the trailer and launch campaign was Jordan Vogt-Roberts, a Hollywood director whose credits include Kong: Skull Island. He is also attached to direct the Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation.

We're in the home stretch for Destiny 2's launch now, as the game goes live for digital preorders at 9:00PM Pacific on Tuesday night, Sept. 5. The game is now available to pre-load on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
