Destiny 2's extended server maintenance downtime today finally came to an end, and a number of bug fixes were the result.

The main feature of today's update was to prepare for tomorrow's first ever Faction Rally, according to Bungie's patch notes, but there were also quite a few issues that the developer fixed as well.

Starting tomorrow, players can pledge their allegiance to one of three factions in an attempt to earn new gear. Whichever faction earns the most reward packages via leveling up with faction tokens will gain access to an exclusive weapon for just 1,000 glimmer.

One of the most notable changes was to the Call to Arms milestone, a weekly Crucible milestone that refreshes every Tuesday. With this update, Bungie has reduced the amount of time needed to complete it to align it with other challenges like it.

Bungie also fixed a bug that prevented clan XP from being rewarded for completing public events, and a separate issue which was preventing some players from receiving weekly clan engrams from Hawthorne.

You can check out the full patch notes here. The Faction Rally will go live some time tomorrow after the weekly reset at 4am CT.
