Grand Theft Auto V roleplayer and Twitch streamer MiltonTPike1 led a raid of donations and new subscribers for streamer Ashlynn on Thursday.
Milton and Ashlynn became well known in the GTA RP world thanks to their characters Kiki Chanel and Brenda the Receptionist, respectively.
The wholesome exchange began by Milton calling Ashlynn in game and telling her to take her headset off. He wanted to speak directly to Ashlynn’s viewers without ruining the surprise.
“As you guys heard, Ashlynn has had a pretty crazy, tumultuous, roller coaster-like few weeks, but here’s what I request of you guys,” Milton said. “I’m wondering if we can gift some subscriptions to Ashlynn. I would never ask you guys to do anything that I’m not gonna do myself, so I’ll tell you what. I’m gonna gift 10 [subscriptions].”
Milton told the chat that once he said the magic word, “Splenda,” to let the support start pouring in.
Once she put the headset back on, the magic word was uttered, and the plan was put into motion. Bits, donations, and new subscriptions began covering her stream overlay.
“When Kiki calls you, you had better fucking answer,” Milton said as Ashlynn was starting to process what was going on. “Chat, well done, I love all of you, I sent my 10 along,” Milton said. “Keep it up. Do not relent, do not relent even when she begs you to stop.”
“If I show you facecam right now, you guys will literally see me, like, bawling,” Ashlynn told her chat.
Ashlynn pulled up her Streamlabs feed showing a never-ending flood of new subscribers. Then she began thanking Milton for what he had just done, speaking through tears.
“Milton… I know you’re listening, so I’m just gonna say it,” Ashlynn said. “You are the fucking best, man.”
“I really feel like he gave me my first chance to, like, prove myself in, like, the RP world,” she continued, still choked up. “Kiki kind of, I feel like, genuinely brought Brenda’s personality out.”
