Biography

Pre Launch

Season 1

After winning the Launch Tournament, the team replaced their ADC YOUNGBAE with the former Cloud 9 hunter Smek and managed to qualify for the European SPL Kick Off LAN.

They placed 3rd/4th in the kick off LAN, and continued to compete over seven weeks in the Season One SPL, placing third overall and managing to qualify for the European Regional Championships. Heading into the LAN, they replaced their ADC with their former coach Zimpstar. Although they went into the tournament third seed, they played and lost to SK Gaming, who came up from the pro league play ins after placing 5th in the Pro League, 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Following the Regional Championships, the team disbanded after failing to qualify for the SMITE World Championship 2015.

Season 2

Spring Split

Going into season 2, the former Cognitive Red roster, then known as The Name Changers, was picked up by Team SoloMid, marking the organization's return to the Smite competitive scene. The team participated in the SPL Season 2 NA Spring Season, maintaining their dominant performance from Season 1 and placing first overall and qualifying for the Spring Finals.

During Spring Finals, the team managed to win Semi-finals in a close 3-2 set against Europe's Fnatic, continuing on to face the other North American team AFK Gaming in the finals. Despite losing the first game, the team managed to pull out a win in the second match. They lost the next two matches however, losing the set and placing second in the spring finals overall.

Summer Split

At the Summer Finals, TSM would make short work of their quarterfinals opponent, Fnatic, dropping a single game to win the series 3-1. Their semifinals match found them against the first seeded and favorite to win AFK Gaming. TSM went down two games quickly, and despite a game 3 advantage, the series nearly ended in a sweep as a mid-game pause looked like it might possibly cause them to forfeit via combat pause. However, the pause was deemed legitimate, and the game was allowed to continue. TSM pushed their advantage, closing the game without too much difficulty, and bringing some life to the series. Riding the wave of momentum, TSM won handily in game 4, and stomped AFK in game five, knocking the favorites down to the 3rd place match, while advancing to the grand finals to face Paradigm. In a hard-fought series, TSM managed to lose only a 49-minute, back and forth game 2, taking the rest of the series 3-1 and securing 1st place at the Summer Finals.

Fall Split

On September 3rd, Coach Jigz announced a major roster change, with TheBoosh stepping down from the team, Snoopy moving to mid, Eonic to hunter, and himself to support, citing problems dating to before the Summer Finals LAN, including Boosh's lack of motivation. On September 28th, Divios was benched by the team due to attitude problems. Shortly after, TheBoosh returned to the team, reversing all roster changes made thus far except Divios's, who was replaced by bchm.

Pre-Season 3

On January 5th, 2016, TSM announced that as their roster's contracts came to an end, they wouldn't re-sign them. With the departure of their team, TSM wasn't planning on picking up a new roster. They would withdraw from SMITE, stating they want to focus their resources and effort in other games. This, along with previous statements from the team's roster, was received negatively by the community, with most agreeing that TSM was a bad sponsor. Eonic himself stated that the organization rarely communicated with the team and information on the website was often incorrect or simply missing altogether. This chain of events left TSM disgraced by the SMITE community.
