Novus Orsa is a European SMITE team.
Biography

In December 2014, YOUNGBAE, formerly of Cloud 9, formed the team from the remains of teams that didn't qualify for the SMITE World Championship 2015. In early February 2015, the team replaced WolfOfEloStreet with FrezzOO, formerly of Mortality eSports. Two days later the team was picked up by Team Dignitas.

In February 2017, Dignitas left their sponsor after 2 seasons of play, and Dignitas members ShadowNightmare, Duck3y, Barn and FrostiaK joined with free agent FleuryQ and recently teamless Frezzyy to reform the Novus Orsa roster. On week 2 of the Season 4 Spring Split, the team was acquired by Lion Guard eSports. On April 20, 2017, Lion Guard announced its shutdown, and all members aside from Duck3y, who had left the team a day earlier, and FrostiaK, who had been replaced by Rearward during the intervening months, returned to Novus Orsa. One day later, Rearward announced his departure.

During Relegations, Novus Orsa played with an unannounced and improvised roster: R3bound and Axioz took the solo and jungle roles respectively. The lack of practice showed, and Novus Orsa crumbled, losing all three games. On 13 May 2017, ShadowNightmare announced his retirement and Frezzyy his departure, leaving FleuryQ and Barn as the only remaining members of Novus Orsa.
