If you love LEGO, you’re in for a real treat with the LEGO event in Fisch! In this cheerful crossover, you’ll help Brickford Masteron track down 16 missing LEGO fish across the ocean. It’s a colorful, brick-built adventure. Learn everything you need to know in this Fisch LEGO event guide.

Where to find Brickford Masteron in Fisch

To kick things off, head over to Moosewood and look for Brickford Masteron. You’ll spot him easily — he’s standing proudly on a LEGO boat docked on the right side of the island (the right side if you’re looking at the island from the ocean).
Talk to Brickford, and he’ll explain that 16 of his special LEGO fish have gone missing.
How to get Stud Bait
Stud Bait is what attracts LEGO fish. You can get the bait from Brickford, but there’s a bug where he doesn’t seem to be giving players bait when they first talk to him. Try talking to him a second time to get bait before you head out.
You don’t have to use Stud Bait to catch LEGO fish, but it does help you avoid diminishing your own supply of bait. If you run out, you can get more Stud Bait from Brickford for every LEGO fish you give him.
How to get the Brick Built Rod
To help you on your fishing adventure, Brickford will gift you the Brick Built Rod right away, along with your small supply of Stud Bait. You’ll need this rod specifically to catch any of the LEGO fish, so make sure it’s equipped before you start hunting for those blocky swimmers!
Where to catch LEGO fish in Fisch (and how to find a LEGO Pool)

Now that you have your rod and bait, you’ll need to find a LEGO Pool to start fishing. Unlike past pools, there’s no stream of light signifying their position. Instead, you’ll need to be nearby to see the red “LEGO Pool” label telling you where to fish.
There’s a lot of misinformation about the LEGO pools, so these are my personal findings regarding their spawn rate and how to find them:
- LEGO Pools spawn once every 10 to 30 minutes.
- They last five minutes before disappearing.
- A server-wide notification will pop up when one spawns. This will appear at the top of your screen and in the chat box, telling you what island it’s near.
- They are usually just off the shore of the island they spawn by. For Moosewood, as an example, the Pools I’ve seen were just in front of the island and at the back (north of Earmark Island).
Use a fast boat to quickly search around the islands and find the red radar patch in the water. You do not need to have your Fish Radar on to find this section.
Pools often spawn by:
- Statue of Sovereignty
- Moosewood
- Mushgrove Swamp
- Roslit Bay
- Grand Reef
- Northern Expedition (outside the portal, you don’t need to enter the area)
How to catch every LEGO fish in Fisch and complete Brickford’s Bestiary

Once you find a LEGO Pool, it’s fishing time! Equip your Brick Built Rod and get casting.
There are 15 different LEGO fish to catch from the LEGO pool. Here’s the full list (they’re all Limited fish with no time of day or seasonal requirements) in the same order they’re in the bestiary:
- Stud Bait
- Stud Shark
- Stud Koi
- Studolodon
- Azure Studfish
- Brickhorse
- Cardinal Studfish
- Yellow Studfish
- Crab Stud
- Goldbrick
- Studling Crab
- Tentabrick (-65 percent progress speed)
- Glowbrick
- Clown Brickfish
- Jellystud
- Stud Turtle
How to catch the Studolodon in Fisch
The final fish of the LEGO fish bestiary, the Studolodon, plays a little harder to get. Instead of showing up in a LEGO Pool, the Studolodon can only be found during a Studolodon Hunt. Here’s how it works:
- A server-wide notification will announce when a Studolodon has appeared near a specific island or landmark.
- Sail to the mentioned location as fast as possible.
- Equip your Brick Built Rod and use Stud Bait to fish for it.
The Studolodon isn’t an easy catch. It has a -85 percent progression speed, which means it struggles against your rod constantly and will test your fishing skills. Don’t get discouraged if it takes a few tries.
How to get the LEGO event reward in Fisch
