The brand-new roster consists of former Smite professionals Peter “Suntouch” Logan and Florian “Liquidz” Bruyere, Martin “Spaikk” Benes, and Asger “Ziphon” Storgaard Hoffner.

“We have been incredibly impressed by Bluehole Studio in their efforts to maximize the rapid growth of PUBG amongst the passionate esports consumer,” Team Dignitas CEO Jonathan Kemp said. “We are encouraged by the dynamic fan base that supports this game and believe the PUBG brand and competitive game genre aligns well with the other teams in our Team Dignitas family.”

Dignitas said in the announcement that the team will be competing in all available major competitions and also seeking a spot in the upcoming $200,000 IEM Oakland PUBG Invitational next month.

“It has been inspiring to watch the careers of these players develop alongside the fervent interest in PUBG,” said Michael “ODEE” O’Dell, Team Dignitas President. “I am ecstatic to have signed both players from the Team Dignitas family as well as new faces who—for their personality, work ethic and elite style of play—are sure to become Team Dignitas fan favorites.”

Team Dignitas joins a long list of esports organizations that have entered PUBG in light of its growing success in 2017 including Cloud9, TSM, and more.
