The test server for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is back online and it will stay up for the next three days ahead of the game’s impending 1.0 launch.

The server went up at 9:30pm CT on Sunday night and will last all the way until 4am CT on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 7.

This test period comes as something of a surprise on late Sunday night as the developer previously announced that the next time the test server would go live would be to test out the new desert map. But it looks like there’s been a change of plans.

The pressure is now on at PUBG Corp. as the game is scheduled to release on the Xbox One next week on Dec. 12. The 1.0 version of the game will coincide with that release, as the game will soon be out of early access on Steam and into Xbox’s Game Preview program.

PUBG is still doing extremely well as the game reportedly sold 5 million copies in October, and the launch on Xbox One as well as the wealth of new content being added in 1.0 will undoubtedly attract even more gamers to the title.
