Europe has seen a major Overwatch tournament drought, but it looks like the region will finally get some relief.

Tournament organizers TaKeTV will host the Overwatch TaKeOver 2 in Krefeld, Germany from June 1 to 4. Six teams will be invited directly—so far, Rogue and Ninjas in Pyjamas have been announced—with two spots available for qualifying teams. The first qualifying event begins May 6, and the second starts on May 13. The remaining invited teams will be announced "in the following weeks," according to TaKeTV.

With a prize pool of $50,000, the first-place team will take home $25,000, with second awarded $12,500. Third place will earn $8,500, while fourth gets $4,000. It's a major increase over the first TaKeOver event, which spread a prize pool of $5,000 across the top four teams.

TaKeTV tournaments are unique in that they're held inside the studio's very own TaKe Gaming Bar. Tournaments like the HomeStory Cup or SeatStory Cup, and now the TaKeOver, often have more of a laid-back feel, allowing fans and professionals to mingle as the event unfolds. Games are displayed on televisions scattered across the venue, as well as on the "in-house cinema."

Often, professional players will substitute in and out at the caster's desk, making TaKeTV events truly unique.

Those unable to travel to Krefeld, Germany for the event can watch the tournament live on Twitch. For fans in Germany, tickets are available online.
