Stadium has been a fun and refreshing game mode added to Overwatch 2, but sometimes things need to be taken more seriously. You’re always ranking up in Stadium mode, so if you’re reaching for the stars, let’s consider the best character builds for ease of rank climbing.
Here’s everything you need to know about maximizing support character Kiriko.

Best Kiriko build in Overwatch 2 Stadium

For starters, it’s good to know how effective Kiriko is when we consider her basic abilities. Her unique ability, Suzu, protects yourself and your allies from powerful attacks, her teleport lets her reposition herself to avoid dangerous encounters, and most importantly, while her healing is one of the most consistent supporting characters, her damage is just as lethal. There’s an emphasis on her critical damage dealt, so aim for the enemy’s heads.
As we get into the details, it’s important to keep in mind that you’re aiming to boost all of her abilities to make the most of her kit in this mode.
Powers
You can go for various builds depending on the playstyle you want to adopt for Kiriko. For example, you can play around with her movement for unpredictability, allowing her to double jump, leave a clone during Swift Step, and Swift Stepping in any direction without a target. This would make you harder to kill, so you’d want to complement these changes with a heavy focus on her damage to become an unexpectedly powerful source of DPS output – the Powers of Keen Kunai and Foxy Fireworks are great additions for bonus damage with her default attack alone.
This build is for a more aggressive Kiriko. Depending on your team setup, finding a good balance between her damage and healing output might be more useful to you.
You can only unlock a Power at the start of rounds one, three, five, and seven. Stadium matches tend to end by the fifth round, although if it’s a tight game, you could come to a match point for both teams. We’ve chosen the four Powers you want to pick up below, in order of priority.
Power | Description |
---|---|
![]() Crossing Guard | Kitsune Rush now also reduces enemies Move Speed by 50% for 2s. |
![]() Keen Kunai | Kunai critical hits decrease active ability cooldowns by 15% and refund 3 ammo. |
![]() Leaf on the Wind | Healing Ofuda bounces to another ally up to 2 times, healing for 30% of the normal amount. |
![]() Fleet Foot | Swift Step can be used directionally without a target. |
What we’re focusing on here is accelerating Kiriko’s ultimate charge. Selecting one Power relating to each of her key abilities makes Kiriko well-rounded, boosting her effectiveness in each of these sections to ensure she’s not getting outplayed by opposing healers.
Leaf on the Wind allows for better overall healing of your teammates, especially when stacking up on each other. Fleet Foot allows you to reposition safely, which is highly necessary when your opponents also increase the unpredictability and reach of their abilities.
Kiriko’s critical hit rate already deals a lot of damage, so Keen Kunai grants her even more benefits in landing these hits. Alternatively, since it rewards good accuracy, those who struggle to land critical hits should instead apply Foxy Fireworks as the alternative boost to her default damage. Just make sure you’re damaging as much as healing when you’re Kiriko.
But most importantly, you want to pick up Crossing Guard immediately to make her ultimate, Kitsune Rush, even more challenging for the enemy team to survive through. That’s the aim with this Kitsune build.
Items
Item | Stats | Effect | Price |

![]() Talisman of Velocity | 15% ability power | Protection Suzu grants 25% attack speed and 25% move speed for 4s. | 10,000 |
![]() Our Bikes | 25 health 15% ability power | Allies affected by Kitsune Rush are healed for 80 every 1s. | 10,000 |
![]() Cyclist Gloves | When you use an ability, gain 20% attack speed for 3s. | 5,000 | |
![]() Eye of the Yokai | 10% ability power 35% Kitsune Rush duration | 4,000 | |
![]() Ryota’s Reloader | 35% reload speed | After using an ability, restore 100% of your ammo. | 10,000 |
![]() Catalytic Crystal | +15 percent Ability Power | Ability Damage and Healing grants 20 percent more Ultimate Charge. | 10,000 |
The emphasis of the items for Kiriko is to increase her ability power as often as you can. Not only do the majority of the items we’ve selected cover an increase in her ability power, but the effects each of them has are incredibly helpful too.
Ryota’s Reloader goes hand in hand with every other item affecting your attack speed, ensuring that your default attack is coming out as often as possible to land those critical hits. Additionally, Cyclist Gloves further encourages you to use your abilities as often as possible, so you then follow it up with dishing out damage.
You want to be doing this on a cycle as Kiriko accelerates her ultimate charge as fast as possible to unleash a devastating Kitsune Rush that slows down your opponents and increases your attack speed. Attack, use an ability, attack again, use Suzu, rinse and repeat to body the enemy team, all whilst Kitsune Rush also heals your teammates.
