Today, Team SoloMid announced on their website that they have “mutually parted ways” with their sports psychology trainer and coach Weldon Green. Green officially joined the team at the beginning of the 2016 NA LCS summer split, after helping TSM on multiple occasions during the previous split. Before working with TSM, Green helped many other LCS teams, such as Fnatic and Counter Logic Gaming.

In this announcement, TSM addressed the comments Green made about Korean teams after the League of Legends World Championship. TSM expressed their extreme gratitude towards their Korean scrim partners, noting that Samsung White, who was their primary scrim partner during the 2014 world championship, was the primary reason that TSM was able to make it to the quarterfinals that year. TSM stated that they “actively choose to remain on good relationships” with their Korean scrim partners, and that Green’s statements do not reflect the organization’s thoughts whatsoever.

TSM concluded their post by announcing that they are now looking for a sports psychologist for the upcoming season. Some qualifications the team is looking for include someone with a degree in psychology or a related field, experience working with/coaching youth, and a minimum of four years work experience.
