Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite release date revealed

Fans have been left in the dark for months, but now the hugely anticipated Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite finally has a release date. The game is set to come out on Sept. 19.

New characters for the game have been revealed in a blistering new trailer on Capcom’s social media.

Marvel fans will be graced with Rocket Racoon, Hulk, Thor, and Hawkeye while Capcom fans will be getting Strider Hiryu, Chris Redfield, and Chun Li.

These new characters will join Ryu, Megaman X, Morrigan, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, and Captain America who were confirmed in the game’s original reveal trailer.

Capcom plans to launch three versions of the game from launch. As well as the standard version of the game. Capcom will also release a Deluxe edition which includes six additional post launch characters including Megaman series character Sigma.

Capcom also teased a collectors edition at the end of the trailer. It includes four diorama figures of Megaman X, Chun-Li, Iron Man and Captain Marvel as well as six Infinity Stone replicas and the deluxe edition version of the game. It’s currently selling at major retailers.
