The full list of LoL teams attending IEM Oakland is as follows:

  • Team SoloMid (NA LCS – Summer No. 1)
  • Flash Wolves (LMS – Summer No. 1)
  • INTZ e-Sports (Wildcard – No. 1)
  • The Chiefs eSports Club (Wildcard – No. 2)

Multiple teams have turned down the chance to take part in IEM Oakland, one of the few international offseason events in the LoL competitive cycle. Splyce, Immortals, Afreeca Freecs and I May all declined invites to the tournament for various reasons. Because of this, the tournament initially set to hold eight teams is now forced to compete with just six.

These six teams will battle for a share of the US $100,000 prize pool and a spot at the IEM World Championship in Katowice, Poland in 2017.

  • 1st – $50,000
  • 2nd – $20,000
  • 3rd/4th – $10,000
  • 5th/6th – $5,000
