Unicorns of Love 2-0 INTZ e-Sports
This was an impressive series for Unicorns of Love. Kang “Move” Min-su comprehensively out-jungled INTZ e-Sports’ jungler Gabriel “Revolta” Henud, gaining advantages for all three of his lanes through his repeated ganks. UOL’s mid laner Fabian “Exileh” Schubert had a dominating performance this series, single-handedly winning team fights in both games on Viktor and Cassiopeia.
The silent hero this series was undoubtedly Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev. Whenever any of his teammates were in trouble, Hylissang would immediately Abyssal Voyage to their location and save them. UOL has a tough match tomorrow against North American League Championship Series Team SoloMid, who is the favourite to win the tournament.
Longzhu Gaming 2-0 The Chiefs eSports Club
Game one in this series was very close. Longzhu had a gold lead for most of the game, but due to poor decision making and great Orianna from Chiefs mid laner Simon “Swiffer” Papamarkos, the Korean squad had a hard time closing out the game. Game one ended in 50 minutes, which was longer than the entire previous series.
Game two, on the other hand, was much cleaner for Longzhu. Lee “Chaser” Sang-hyun had an amazing second game, propelling all of his lanes to victory. Longzhu closed out game two in a quick 27 minutes. Tomorrow, Longzhu will face off against the Flash Wolves, otherwise known as the Korean slayers. This will be a difficult match for Longzhu, but they have a chance as the Flash Wolves will be fielding two substitutes in their series.
