Day two of Gears action came and went in Columbus, and we have a better idea of the teams who will be moving on to try and take home the biggest share of the $300,000 prize pool.

In the Open Bracket, Millenium, NRG, and Sigma Gaming, three well-known organizations who were given byes in the first round, were knocked out of the competition. This gave way to the rise of several young and hungry teams who were itching for pro points out in Columbus.

Despite fighting for the right to be in the group stage yesterday, almost all four open bracket sides got at least one win today against the professional sides. Specifically, Fully Spaced and Get Bronco both grabbed third over teams that were automatically placed into pool play.
The top seven teams finished as expected, but there was a slight shake up with Enigma6 falling in favor of Epsilon Esports.
