After a break from Call of Duty, could Evil Geniuses start over on Infinite Warfare?

Evil Geniuses has been out of the Call of Duty scene for two years now, but the organization has led fans to believe that they have plans to return. Earlier, they tweeted out this:

At first glance, this would seem like a mistake that has been made on an MLG announcement, with Evil Geniuses taking a sarcastic bash at it. However, give it another second of thought, and maybe this could be something else entirely. Granted, their last Call of Duty appearance was on Call of Duty: Ghosts back in 2014, the same year which they released their entire roster. Evil Geniuses could be looking to acquire a new team for later this year.

Whilst the idea of Evil Geniuses returning to Call of Duty may seem too good to be true, according to a report from ESPN’s Jacob Wolf, Evil Geniuses already has a roster targeted and ready to sign. The players include; Anthony “NAMELESS” Wheeler, Jeremy “StuDyy” Astacio, Colt “Havok” McLendon and Jared “Nagafen” Harrell, who is still a contracted player to Elevate. If all of this is true, then the tweet from Evil Geniuses will have been aimed at announcing their place at the Call of Duty World League at the Playstation Experience 2016 at the start of December.

With three of the players from their dream lineup up for grabs, and the other still under contract, Evil Geniuses will have to pick up the pace, as they don’t have long to get a team together. If they do get this rumoured team roster, and do make their comeback to Call of Duty, then they will be a force to be reckoned with.
