Marvel RivalsUltron’s Battle Matrix Protocol is set to release on June 6, and it is going to be around for roughly two weeks before leaving the game on June 23 at 4am CT. During this time, you can queue into this experimental game mode, choose an Ultron bot, and select your favorite heroes to battle other players.

You can also earn various rewards for playing multiple matches, including a special spray and limited-time Ultron emojis to add to your player card.

How to play Marvel Rivals Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol

Similar to other auto battlers like Riot Games’ TFT, Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol allows you to select six heroes from the existing in-game roster and arrange them to face enemy heroes. After the hero selection, you can place them in any order, but ideally, you’d want to keep your tanks in the front, followed by duelists and strategists to keep them safe.

Each round, you will be facing a different enemy player, who will have a different or similar set of heroes to take down your pawns. While you will win some battles, you’ll inevitably lose some as well, but you’ll gain key upgrades to make the heroes stronger.

A lot of the ultimates work differently in this Marvel Rivals auto battler, and they provide a significant advantage to the player when used well. Some heroes like Venom can also get bigger to gain a huge amount of HP and dominate the battle by being an impenetrable fortress.

You can also change your existing hero combinations to make certain teamups work better and adapt according to the enemies’ moves. Once all the players have been eliminated, the last player wins the match, proving that they have the best simulation for Ultron’s master plan.
