Formation of Saigon Fantastic Five

Saigon Fantastic Five is firstly formed by former Saigon Jokers players. Their first competition was the Season 2 Vietnam Qualifiers, they end up finishing as the runner-up losing to Saigon Jokers in the final.

In Season 3, SF5 finishing Glorious Arena Season 2 and qualifiers for 2013 GPL Spring. However, SF5 did not playing well in the top tournament in Southeast Asia. They are in the last place of 2013 GPL Summer and still keep changing their roster. Some professional players such as Violet and Navy leave the team after their terrible performance.

Road to 2014 Season

Although SF5 doesn't perform well in GPL, they still qualifiers for the 2014 GPL Winter. Based on the explanation of GPL, SF5 change their roster again by hires Gony and TSU, but they still cannot catch up with the other teams, they score 1-9 in Group B and got knocked out.

Amaze the Southeast Asia

In 2014 GPL Spring, 3 top player from Vietnam, NIXWATER, Jungleology and MinaS, joins SF5. SF5 was become one of the underdogs in GPL. They beat yoe Flash Wolves and Singapore Sentinels and becomes the 2nd place in group with the 6-4 result. But they lose to their sister team, Saigon Jokers and end their trip in Quarterfinals.

No longer be the underdog, SF5 has becomes stronger and stronger. After QTV joins, SF5 has become one of the top teams in Southeast Asia. They beat ahq e-Sports Club for twice in 2014 GPL Summer and knocked out Saigon Jokers in the Quarterfinals. For the first time, SF5 joins the party of top 4 teams in GPL Summer. They have to face off the power-house in Southeast Asia, Taipei Assassins.

2015 Season

From 2015 Season, Taiwan teams don't participate GPL, Saigon Fantastic Five become the most powerful team at 2015 GPL Spring. After qualifying to Playoff easily, they defeated 269 Gaming at the Semi-Finals 3-2. They continued to defeat Bangkok Titans to become the Champion of 2015 GPL Spring and qualified to 2015 International Wild Card Invitational. Due to Visa issues, the team could not travel to Turkey to participate in the tournament - 2015 GPL Spring runners up Bangkok Titans replaced them at the IWCT.
