Hellions eSports was announced in November 2015 as the new brand of Team Immunity after Immunity was banned from the OPL for not paying their players. The spot in the 2016 OPL Split 1 was given to the roster itself, and the players chose to form a new team instead of joining an already-existing organization. The initial roster announced included Ryoo, Frae, and tgun from Immunity, with Frae switching roles from mid lane to AD carry. Koreans Cookie and Bomb rounded out their lineup.
