While this League champion wasn’t part of the original 17, they came soon after. The initial batch released on Feb. 21, 2009, and this champ made their debut on Sept. 19 alongside Corki. They’ve basically been around the block since then, establishing themselves as an OG.

Hint 2: This champion is mid laner.

I’ve definitely seen this champion in other lanes from time to time, but they’re best known for the mid lane. While they can deal some decent damage in the landing phase, they shine in late-game teamfights. This champion can easily pull off an ace with the right items.

Hint 3: This champion is from Noxus.

This champion is specifically a Noxian assassin known for taking out the empire’s enemies with reckless brutality and deadly precision. Their go-to weapon is a humble blade, and they carry many of them on their conquests.

Answer: The champion who says “If you run, you won’t see me stab you!” is Katarina, the Sinister Blade.

Katarina is notorious for stabbing her opponents. She throws out bouncing blades to whittle down her opponents before jumping on them and exploding them with Death Lotus. She’s the sort of champion who completely carries or falls flat in solo queue. I haven’t had much luck with her, but have been her victim many times.
