TSM support Treatz approved for visa, cleared to play in United States

TSM Cardboard out, TSM Treatz in.

TSM Academy’s support Erik “Treatz” Wessén has had his U.S. visa approved, and will move in with the team in Los Angeles in the coming weeks, he announced on Twitter.

The powerhouse American organisation’s academy roster took home their first Academy title in Spring 2019, with Treatz playing remotely from Sweden.

Moving to Los Angeles will give Treatz a chance to play on a major league stage for the first time after not appearing for EU LCS team ROCCAT in Spring 2017, despite being listed on the roster. It will unfortunately also mark the end of cardboard Treatz, which appeared on stage in his absence during the Spring Split for TSM.

TSM Academy finished Spring 2019 with an 11-7 record in regular season to qualify for their first Academy playoffs. They took down Cloud9 Academy 3-1 in the grand final.
