Team Liquid to tryout new players over IEM Katowice break

Team Liquid will be experimenting with its League of Legends team over the IEM Katowice break.

Team Liquid co-CEO Steve Arhancet announced in a Facebook Live stream and AMA today that Team Liquid will be experimenting during the IEM Katowice break with its League of Legends team, trying out new players and role swapping existing team members.

Arhancet and Michael Artress, Team Liquid’s LoL team manager, did the stream today to address the issues with the LoL team, as well as answer questions from the community.

Aside from the news of tryouts and role swaps, Arhancet addressed questions about Austin “Link Shin’s lack of play time, saying: “We tried Link out in scrims, and we have statistics associated with those scrims. They were very obvious that Goldenglue was the better choice for the team”

Team Liquid is expected to announce its altered, or un-altered, roster by Sunday, once all of the tests have been completed and the options have been weighed.
