The time has come when a new season begins. The new season always brings hopes of new teams, new players, new opportunities for former players, redemption, and just a fresh start for the Pro League of Legends players. Also, a new season means fantasy LCS is back again, with a new season beginning I’ll be releasing my own rankings for each fantasy LCS position as found on the lolesports fantasy LCS page. These positions include Top Lane, Jungle, Mid Lane, ADC, Support and Team. I will be starting with the position that will probably be the up in the air from top to bottom, the teams. This off-season brought more changes than I can remember happening in the previous two off-seasons combined, which makes for a very exciting spring split. Enough talking lets get to the rankings!

They will be in numerical order of how I believe they will finish, and then I will expound a little more at the end in what I think the tiers of the teams will be.

1 – Origen

2 – CLG

3 – Fnatic

4 – Immortals

5 – H2K

6 – Liquid

7 – TSM

8 – NRG

9 – Unicorns

10 -Vitality

11 – C9

12 – Renegades

13 – Giants

14 – G2

15 – Dignitas

16 – Elements

17 – Echo Fox

18 – Splyce

19 – Roccat

20 – Impulse

1-6 (Tier 1)

These are going to be the top dogs in points per game. I don’t know if they will be top 3 in their respective region when it is all said and done, but their play-styles and their new players should allow them to put up big points. Origen was the only team I felt great confidence in these rankings. Their only roster swap was from xPeke to PowerofEvil (who has a more “carry” style, but can play the late game champions well) which many will say is an upgrade to their team.

7-11 (Tier 2)

This next batch will have some unbelievable scoring weeks and other weeks will score in the mid 20’s. These teams have rosters that vary from great players, to potentially sloppy game play which will result in huge point differentials. However, these teams look like they will show more consistency than the final 9 teams. I do think TSM and C9 will both be in the top 4 of the NA LCS, but their play-styles don’t always equal big fantasy points.

12-16 (Tier 3)

These 5 teams are the true wildcards. They will pull off some amazing upsets, and compete in 55min thrillers which will end up netting them big point games, but for the most part they won’t be competitive enough in a majority of their games to warrant drafting. The 2 teams that could vault themselves into the top 10 at the end of the year are Renegades, they have a good team structure and some veteran LCS players) and Giants, Pepii is a force to be reckoned with and he kept his team in a lot of their games last split)

17-20 (Tier 4)

Someone has to be in the bottom 4 of fantasy points and these 4 are the lucky winners. Impulse and Roccat haven’t announced their roster yet so they could move up in the rankings in the coming days, but since most of their former players are on new teams it will be hard for them to move much higher.
