For a limited time, Riot Games is giving European fans the ability to transfer to the Turkish region at no cost.

Starting at 6pm CT today, League of Legends fans in the EU West and EU Nordic and East servers will be able to transfer to Turkey for one RP. Riot will then reimburse the RP to those users who log in to the game and play on the Turkish servers.

Riot is only offering the trade one way, and transfers in the opposite direction (from Turkey back to EU) will be temporarily disabled between May 10 to Aug. 2. Any users who purchased a transfer from the European regions to Turkey within the 15 days prior to the start of the campaign will have their transfer cost refunded.

Users who transfer servers will have to change their summoner name if it’s unavailable in the region they’re transferring to. Their ranked standings will reset, including their honor progression and MMR as if they’ve created a new account. Honor levels will reset at level two, regardless of whether users were at lower levels.

Turkey falls in the middle of the pack for region size and shares the same number of Challenger slots with the EU Nordic and East server, as Riot revealed in a ranked update for 2019 earlier in the year. As one of the larger regions, however, EU West holds an additional 100 player slots in the Challenger division.

Those looking to transfer to the Turkish region will have until 4pm CT on June 20 to do so before the offer ends.
