With the news coming out about the Chris Badawi scandal, I want to address the point being made by the Renegades organization stating that players are mistreated. According to both the owners, players are mistreated, and Badawi tries to make this his saving grace every time he is asked about his ban from ownership. He says players are under paid and that they don't know their worth, but how can we be so blind to the fact that he is just trying to look out for his best interest. He isn't trying to start a players union, or fund other teams to compensate their players. He is trying to lure players to his team, inevitably increasing his brand. If Badawi only cared about the well being of LCS players, he would not be so inclined to own a team, he would be looking to create some kind of players union. I do not know all the facts, and honestly it is not my business when it comes to the alleged poaching, but he should not be able to hide behind this "mistreated players" defense that he has created.

This is not just owners ganging up on him because they are scared of the numbers that Badawi can offer players. This guy does not have money that can scare off the likes of TSM, TL, C9 etc. It is quite silly that this is even a thing brought up in this community.

I wanted to write this article cause I believe that I am able to see it from both sides, as I am a big supporter of not only the Renegades players, but also Monte Cristo.
