As Worlds 2025 comes to the business end, the League of Legends developer is fixing solo queue to make the ranked climb better before players wrap up the season.
These League changes aim to take down overperforming runes in solo queue while buffing struggling champions with sub-50 percent win rates to help them get up to speed in the ever-changing meta.

When does LoL Patch 25.22 release?

League updates are released on Wednesdays, and this schedule remains the same for every patch. The updates come to the PBE servers with new features, skins, and adjustments, before being released on the live servers. The next update is scheduled for Nov. 5, 2025. While the official release times across all regions are yet to be confirmed, the expected release windows are as follows:
- 3pm CT (NA)
- 5am GMT (EU West)
- 3am CET (EU North East)
- 8am KR (Korea)
What’s in Patch 25.22?

Patch 25.22 is fairly light on buffs and nerfs but focuses on changing multiple overperforming runes to bring balance back to the game. It also features changes to Skarner and top lane Volibear to make them more viable in the meta. As usual, skins like Mecha Kingdoms Wukong and Darius are hitting the PBE server. Furthermore, a visual change to Machine Herald Viktor and a new skin, Panda Pal Lux, are coming to the store.
The developer will donate 100 percent of all Panda Pal Lux proceeds, plus a 2x match, to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, a donor-advised fund account sponsored by ImpactAssets. Players who purchase the skin from Nov. 5 to Dec. 3 can contribute to the cause.
Champion buffs
The following champions are receiving buffs in League Patch 25.22:
Aurelion Sol
- Base movement speed has been increased from 335 to 340.
[Q] Breath of Light: Burst base damage has been increased from 55-95 to 60-100.
Blitzcrank
[E] Soul Unbound: Cooldown has been reduced from 9/8/7/5 to 7/6.5/6/5.5/5.
Yone
[Q] Mortal Steel: Base damage has been increased from 20-120 to 25-125.
Champion nerfs
The following champions are receiving buffs in League Patch 25.22:
Akshan
- Base HP has been decreased from 630 to 610.
[Q] Avengerang cooldown has been increased from 8-5 to 9-5.
LeBlanc
- Health growth has been reduced from 111 to 108.
- Armor growth has been reduced from 4.7 to 4.2.
Talon
[P] Monster mod has been reduced from 1.1x to 1.0x.
Champion adjustments
The following champions are getting adjusted in League Patch 25.22:
Skarner
AD growth has been changed to three to four.
[Q] Shattered Earth
- Bonus AD ratio has been changed from 80 to 90 percent.
- Cooldown has been reduced from 13-7 to 8-4 after last offensive action (attack/throw).
[E] Ixtal’s Impact: Bonus AD ratio has been changed from zero to 120 percent.
[R] Impale: Cast time has been increased from 0.65 to 0.75
Volibear
- Base armor has been changed from 31 to 35.
- Base AD has been changed from 60 to 62.
[Q] Thundering Smash: Minimum move speed 12-28 percent to 12-26 percent. (maximum is still two times the minimum.)
[E] Sky Splitter: Total damage cap to minions and monsters has been changed 650 to 190-650+70 percent AP.
System buffs
The following systems are getting buffs in League Patch 25.22:
Cash Back
Cash refund has been increased from six to eight percent.
Guardian
Shield has been increased from 45-150+15 percent AP+five percent bonus HP to 45-180+25 percent AP+five percent bonus HP.
Hail of Blades
Melee attack speed has been increased from 140 to 160 percent.
Legends: Bloodline
- Life steal per stack has been increased from 0.35 to 0.4 percent.
- Maximum life steal has been increased from 5.25 to 6 percent.
Movement Speed Shard
The move speed has been increased by two to 2.5 percent.
Nimbus Cloak
Move speed (based on summoner CD) from 14/32/40 to 15/35/45 percent.
Tenacity Shard
Tenacity and slow resistance have been increased from 10 to 15 percent.
Triple Tonic
- Elixir of Avarice gold have been increased from 40 to 60.
- Elixir of Force adaptive force has been increased from 20 to 30.
System nerfs
The following champions are getting nerfs in League Patch 25.22:
Biscuits
Minimum heal has been decreased from 20+2 percent max HP to 1.5 percent max HP (max heal is still two times the minimum.
Phase Rush
Slow resist has been reduced from 75 to 50 percent.
