When does League of Legends Brawl come out? Release date countdown

Brawl is coming to League of Legends very soon.

Riot Games recently unveiled a new five-vs-five game mode for League of Legends called Brawl, and it looks like a lot of fun. Brawl will feature a smaller map, similar to the ARAM mode, and is set to release with Patch 25.10.

This new game mode is expected to feature a high pace and constant action style of play instead of the usual strategy-based gameplay of LoL. Wondering how soon you can jump into this new game mode and experience the thrilling gameplay? We have everything you need to know.

Here’s the countdown for the release of the Brawl game mode in LoL.

Riot has confirmed that Brawl will release with LoL Patch 25.10. According to the official patch schedule on LoL’s website, Patch 25.10 is scheduled for release on May 14, 2025. This confirms that Brawl will also release on the same date as the scheduled patch update.

The mode features a deathmatch setting where both teams have a total health pool of 250 points each. There are three ways by which you can deal damage to your enemy’s health pool, and here’s a list of all three of those methods:

  • Kill enemy champions: Five points of damage each.
  • Kill enemy minions: One point of damage each.
  • Push your minions inside the enemy’s base: One point for each minion.

Whichever team’s health pool runs out first is defeated, and with a setting like this, Brawl is guaranteed to be a fast-paced and high-action mode. Here’s the countdown until the full release of the game mode:

The new game mode will be available as soon as Patch 25.10 goes live on the main LoL servers, and you will be able to experience Brawl with your favorite champions.

Brawl game mode, explained

Despite featuring a smaller map like the ARAM mode, Brawl has no towers on the map. Instead, you must constantly spar with your enemy champions and try to take them down, as that is the most efficient way to damage your opponent’s base. While you can also push your minions or take down enemy minions for bonus damage points, taking down enemy champions allows you to inflict the highest damage on the enemy base.

Considering the mechanics of this mode, it can be a good place for you to practice your teamfight skills, as well as how to plan and execute ambushes on enemies. This mode also offers a light-hearted change of pace from the intense grind of ranking up in Summoner’s Rift. For this reason, Brawl can be enjoyed by players of all ranks and skill levels without worrying too much about all the aspects you usually have to think about in a regular match.

If you’re a fan of events and game modes like this one, don’t worry—they’re not going anywhere. A new landing page, quests, battle pass, and more are being focused on during the current season.
