Former H2K ADC Konstantinos-Napoleon “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou posted a vague tweet earlier today that has many fans believing that he’s begun his compulsory military duty.

In response to a tweet from TSM’s ADC Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen about the new bot lane meta in League of Legends, the Greek player said, “greetings from army Zven, hope [you] have a great time.”

This isn’t the first time that FORG1VEN has mentioned military service, however. While playing for H2K in February 2016, FORG1VEN delivered an emotional post-game interview in which he said that he received a letter calling him into active duty for the Greek military in March. But FORG1VEN got to continue playing in the EU LCS after his military service was deferred in March 2016.

During his prime, FORG1VEN was often considered by many to be one of the most talented ADCs in the world. One of the most impressive accomplishments of his career included a top four finish at the 2016 League of Legends World Championship.

Most recently, FORG1VEN joined Origen to compete with a star-studded lineup in the EU Masters tournament in April—and they swept IlluminaR in the grand finals to win the event.

It seems likely that FORG1VEN has begun his military service, but it’s not officially confirmed due to how vague the tweet is. FORG1VEN tweeted last month that he’d be “unavailable for the entire 2018 [season] and probably [the] biggest part of 2019″—which could help explain today’s tweet. One Reddit user also pointed out that FORG1VEN has said that he’s open to returning to competitive play in 2020 if he can find a “championship-level team.”

We’re sure League fans would love to get another chance to see this world-class ADC compete again in the future.
