Dicey's Middle Lane Rankings for Fantasy LCS Week 4

Who should you start in the mid lane? This article will help you decide.

preview

Here are my rankings for the mid laners in week four of Fantasy LCS.

No. 1 - Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen (Cloud9 - NA LCS)

Last Week

  • Best Game: 59.19
  • First Two Games: 104.17

Projections For This Week

  • Best Game: 45-60
  • First Two Games: 80-95

Jensen and Cloud9 have been on fire and I do not expect that to change anytime soon. FlyQuest could potentially cause a problem, but Liquid will make up for it, so Cloud9 should easily be able to go 2-0 in week four.

No. 2 - Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg (TSM - NA LCS)

Last Week

  • Best Game: 55.97
  • First Two Games: 63.45

Projections For This Week

  • Best Game:45-60
  • First Two Games: 70-85

It’s Bjergsen; when does he not score well? Echo Fox and Team EnVyUs should pose no threats to the Dane/TSM.

No. 3 - Luka "PerkZ" Perkovi? (G2 - EU LCS)

Last Week*

  • Best Game: 14.99
  • First Two Games: 28.95

Projections For This Week

  • Best Game: 45-60
  • First Two Games: 65-80

PerkZ was a huge scorer in the first week when G2 had two series, and I expect him to do the same this week. When they play H2K, the series could go both ways, but then G2 plays the league's punching bag in Origen, which should result in a lot of points for PerkZ.

No. 4 - Fabian "Febiven" Diepstraten (H2K - EU LCS)

Last Week

  • Best Game: 30.76
  • First Two Games: 25.61

Projections For This Week

  • Best Game: 40-55
  • First Two Games: 60-75

G2 will be tough for H2K, but that series could go either way. Against ROCCAT, however, you can expect H2K and Febiven to put on a show.

No. 5 - Yoo "Ryu" Sang-ook (P1 - NA LCS)

Last Week

  • Best Game: 56.33
  • First Two Games: 75.38

Predictions For This Week

  • Best Game: 40-55
  • First Two Games: 60-75

Ryu has been a consistent top scorer all year; the guy is simply too strong of a player. Combine this with him being the team's biggest catalyst and you get a good amount of points. FlyQuest and Counter Logic Gaming are both teams that P1 could beat, without question, and Ryu should be able to manage good point production from those matchups.

No. 6 - Hai "Hai" Du Lam (FlyQuest - NA LCS)

Last Week

  • Best Game: 49.45
  • First Two Games: 83.12

Predictions For This Week

  • Best Game: 30-50
  • First Two Games: 50-70

FlyQuest has their toughest week coming up, as they play Cloud9 and Phoenix1. I have been very skeptical when it comes to FlyQuest so far, but they keep proving me wrong. If they are able to play both of these teams tough, then they really are a better team than I thought they were.

No. 7 - Henrik "Froggen" Hansen (Echo Fox - NA LCS)

Last Week*

  • Best Game: 49.73
  • First Two Games: 77.73

Predictions For This Week

  • Best Game: 30-45
  • First Two Games: 50-65

Against TSM, I do not expect too much out of Echo Fox. Then, against CLG, it could really go either way. Froggen has been solid all year though, and Echo Fox seems to be a team that could upset anyone at this point.

No. 8 - Choi "Huhi" Jae-hyun (CLG - NA LCS)

Last Week

  • Best Game: 48.08
  • First Two Games: 73.67

Predictions For This Week

  • Best Game: 30-45
  • First Two Games: 50-65

Echo Fox and P1 are not ideal matchups for CLG, but they have been looking stronger lately. With Huhi, you get a consistent player who has been playing his best League of Legends since joining the LCS.

FeelsBadMan Starts of The Week

Pobelter (Immortals - NA LCS) or Ninja (Team EnVyUs - NA LCS)

You'll find yourself in a pretty unlucky scenario if you have to start either of these players, but I think Pobelter is the one to go with. If Immortals is ever going to look better, it will be this week as they play Liquid and Dignitas.
