Yunara is an ADC, meaning she’ll mainly be played in the bot lane. She specializes in dealing both physical and magical damage with her basic attacks. She can also augment her abilities by activating her ultimate, which puts her into a powerful transcendent state.

WARNING:

Yunara’s abilities are still in development and are subject to change before her release in Patch 25.14.

Here is a breakdown of Yunara’s abilities:

AbilityNameDescription
Passive
Vow of the First Lands
Yunara’s critical hits deal 10 percent magic damage.
Q
Cultivation of Spirit
Passive: Yunara’s attacks deal additional magic damage on-hit. Launching attacks causes Yunara to generate one stack of Unleash, up to a maximum of eight. Yunara gains two stacks from attacking enemy champions. Not attacking for six seconds causes Yunara to lose one Unleash stack every 0.5 seconds.

Active: Consume eight stacks of Unleash to make her attacks spread to nearby enemies for five seconds. She also gains 40 percent Attack Speed, and her attacks deal extra magic damage On-Hit.
W
Arc of Judgement
Yunara throws a spinning prayer bead that deals physical and magical damage. The prayer bead slows down when it hits enemies, and explodes once it reaches its endpoint—the ability slows enemies by 99 percent for 1.5 seconds.
W + R
Transcendent State – Arc of Ruin
Yunara fires a laser that deals physical and magical damage. The laser slows enemies by 99 percent for one second.
E
Kanmei’s Steps
Yunara becomes Ghosted and gains 60 percent movement speed for two seconds. This movement speed is increased to 90 percent when moving towards enemies.
E + R
Transcendent State – Untouchable Shadow
Yunara dashes in a direction. Yunara can use this to dash over small walls.
R
Transcend One’s Self
Yunara enters a Transcendent State for 15 seconds, augmenting her abilities:

1) Cultivation of Spirit is activated for the entire duration.
2) Arc of Judgment is upgraded to Arc of Ruin, and its cooldown is reduced by 50 percent.
3) Kanmei’s Steps is upgraded to Untouchable Shadow and has its cooldown refreshed.

How to play Yunara in League of Legends

Like many other ADCs, Yunara’s main source of damage comes from her basic attacks. Her passive, Vow of the First Lands, augments her basic attacks to deal additional magic damage, making her perfect for teams with heavy amounts of AD.

By activating Cultivation of Spirit, Yunara’s basic attacks will spread to nearby enemies, dealing a percentage of the original damage. This enhanced state lasts for only five seconds, but activating your ultimate will increase the duration to 15.

Both Arch of Judgement and Kanmei’s Steps allow Yunara to slow down enemies and speed herself up. This allows the ADC to hunt down pesky enemies trying to run away from her attacks.

Finally, activate her ultimate, Transcend One’s Self, to refresh your ability cooldowns and deal more damage. During this state, Yunara can jump over short walls, making her incredibly mobile and lethal.
