Winning MSI 2025 would be great, but all AL Flandre really wants is a Faker jersey and a selfie

Events come and go, but swapping jerseys with the GOAT? That’s immortal.

Even with an MSI 2025 title on the line, Flandre can’t help but dream of something smaller but sweeter: a Faker jersey, a selfie with Ruler, and a fanboy moment with arguably the greatest League of Legends esports players of all time.

“The part I’m really looking forward to right now is whether I can do a jersey exchange from T1. That’s what I really care a lot about,” Flandre said in an interview with LCSProfiles. “Our mid laner, Shanks and I, the two of us, are really, really, really huge, big fans of Faker. So we keep struggling and fighting for the chance to do a jersey exchange with T1 and Faker.”

Faker has become synonymous with League of Legends, with Riot breathing a sigh of relief whenever T1 qualify for any international tournament because millions of fans queue into the streams to watch the most decorated player in history. Among Faker’s fans, even professional players like Flandre and Shanks admire the GOAT’s legacy and would love to get some memorabilia.

If Faker is too busy for a selfie, Flandre has Ruler next on his list for a potential jersey swap and to snag a picture on the sidelines of MSI 2025. However, if his mid laner, Shanks, gets an opportunity first to swap jerseys with Faker, Flandre said he’ll be “jealous” but will settle for a picture with the GOAT.

Anybody’s Legends played their first match against FlyQuest, winning 3-1 over the North American representatives. Flandre was eager to face Bwipo in the top lane and praised his “pocket picks,” a common sight in the current Fearless Draft format.

Flandre was a Worlds winner with EDward Gaming back in 2021. He also won the Demacia Cup 2024 and recently the LPL Split 2 in 2025 to qualify for MSI 2025. AL are set to face the current LCK champions, Gen.G, in their next upper bracket match. If they play their cards right, they could pull an upset and potentially face T1 next, if Faker and co. can defeat their next two opponents.
